ICMA Music Showcase 2026: MENAT
The International Computer Music Association (ICMA) presents the ICMA Music Showcase 2026: MENAT. Members of the ICMA born or currently resident in MENAT countries and regions (including Algeria, Bahrain, Djibouti, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malta, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, West Bank and Gaza, Yemen, Turkiye) are invited to submit pieces for a series of online concerts. Feel free to distribute this invitation to students and colleagues in your network.

The International Computer Music Association is an international affiliation of individuals and institutions involved in the technical, creative, and performance aspects of computer music. Procedure
At the time of submission you should be a Member of ICMA. If you are submitting to the Showcase, you can select the option of ‘Student Membership’ for one calendar year even if you are not currently a student. Submissions will be blind reviewed by an international committee of peer experts. Selected works will be curated by the organisers (see below) and online concerts streamed on YouTube and Meia, opening 27 April, 2026. The highest scoring works in each category will receive an Honorary Mention and interview posted on the ICMA website and social media. For inquiries, please contact icma.vp.asiaoceania@gmail.com.
Requirements
- Submissions will only be accepted from members of the ICMA. To become a member, register before submitting at https://icma.wildapricot.org/Membership
- Fixed media pieces must be in one of the following categories:
a) Electroacoustic music. Provide a download link, either .wav or .aiff format (preferably 48k 24bit)
b) Live performance recording (video) of electroacoustic music with instrument(s). Provide a download link, either .mov or .mp4 format (preferably 1080p).
c) Audiovisual piece. Provide a download link, either .mov or .mp4 format (preferably 1080p).
- Download links must remain available until 30 April 2026.
- Pieces must be created in 2020 or later.
- Pieces may have been previously performed.
