Abby Yuen, SoundLab alumna

We congratulate Abby Yuen Hui Ching aka JustBee on her BAS degree (Bachelor of Art and Science 2023), achieved in July 2023. Here’s what she writes ::

“The SoundLab events were a joy to participate in. The numbers don’t lie: from 2021-2023, I attended 13 events hosted by SoundLab, two of which were showcases I had the pleasure to perform in. The workshops and guest lectures were fun and eye-opening, often providing hands-on experiences using a wide range of tools and technologies. Whether it was playing with the orders of Ambisonics, investigating climate change or learning about an artist’s path in sound art, the SoundLab activities have inspired me to adopt new techniques into my practice and to go ahead and connect my ideas together.”
